When I found these images I thought that this was the kind of cottage
I would like to live in.
I especially like the conservatory.
I have a passion for conservatories.
Kitchen and bathroom are my favourite rooms.
What do you think it's the secret to make a house
warm and welcoming?

thats easy......just put a little bit(LOTS) of yourself in there!!! No matter if its a big house or a small house.....rich or poor.....just put yourself, your heart inthere!!!!

This is a dream...if I lived in the english countryside I would want this kind of cottage too! It is charming. ox
I think comfy cozy sofas with tossed pillows and throw blankets(not too neat, but a bit messy) makes for warm and comforting. I like sea shells and pieces of wood(driftwood) sitting around rather than fancy vases or statues that a child could break. Makes it feel more cozy if everyone can plop down and touch things.
L'amore e la passione dei suoi proprietari...ecco cosa rende una casa accogliente! Qualche tocco di rosso qua e là, dei bei tessuti e una buona dose di...shabby chic ovviamente!

Fin da bambina mi divertivo a fare questo giochetto: se avessi avuto una possibilità di scelta per teletrasportare da una pagina di una rivista un solo oggetto raffigurante cosa avrei scelto? Ecco ancora ora, in alcune foto, mi diverto a fare questo gioco e proprio nelle immagini che hai postato oggi mi diverto a scegliere: il mobiletto con la retina in bagno, il baule in salotto, il tavolo in zona giorno, le pareti con il legno nel soggiorno...e tutta la cucina! ;D

Zaira. Lo sai che ti adoro, vero? Ho iniziato il mio blog proprio per pubblicare immagini così, trovate nei siti, e invece le trovo già tutte qui!
Conoscevo solo la 4a foto, quella del conservatory. E ora che ho visto tutta la casa, sono felice!
Osservo sempre per ore ogni immagine. In particolare le stanze dei cottage. E ho notato che quello che in una stanza mi dà l'idea di calore e accoglienza sono il legno, specialmente al naturale (es. tavoli, parquet, cornice del camino...) e i cuscini e i plaid posati qua e là. Poi magari un cuore appeso... e naturalmente i dettagli del vissuto, che rimandano a quelli che ci abitano

Love the bathroom Zaira, though not perfectly modern, it says so much about the style of the cottage. I dream to live in the English countryside, that's enough for me!

Bellissimo cottage, sembra uscito da una favola, mi piace mi piace!
Secondo me le 3 chiavi per rendere confortevole e calda una casa sono: illuminazione, tessuti, e soprattutto personalizzazione; gli oggetti e i mobili con una storia sono sempre dei buoni comunicatori.

Z: I believe that it is LOVE that makes a house cozy and welcoming. Love of family, of yourself and your dreams, of the little things that you collect.....They don't have to be expensive, just have to be YOU....a feather from a walk, a piece of ribbon from a gift sitting in a pretty dish....as long as it sings to you, that is LOVE and that is a home.
